The Transportation Security Administration is at the Ingleside Resort looking for security screeners, administrators and managers for the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport.
The TSA must hire nearly 10,000 security screeners by mid November.
Airport spokesman Dennis Burnett says you should start to see a lot of changes very soon.
"You may see some new equipment. You may see some new people. Some new actual procedures as you go through that are being done now, but may just be done in a different way. Ultimately, I think what the government is for is a standardized screening process throughout the nation," says Burnett.
Burnett says they're still hoping to have federal screeners in place at the Valley Airport by the end of October.
