The Community Association for Rural Transportation, or "CART," is now up and running in Stanley. They're headquartered at the Health Place on Main Street, giving people who can't afford it a ride to the doctor.
They're in need of volunteers to serve as drivers for the program and donations to pay for different items. Officials say in just one week, they've built up a good list of clients.
"We're excited to be here in Page County and we've already served 19 clients that we've already signed up," says Wanda Moloney with CART.
