Pedestrian Hit

It happened on South Main Street around 10 o'clock. Police tell WHSV News 3 the man misjudged the car and walked out right in front of it. Police say he suffered severe head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Rockingham Memorial Hospital, where he was then airlifted to University of Virginia Medical Center. No charges have been filed yet against the driver.
