Just hours before polls open in Virginia, both Creigh Deeds and Bob McDonnell were making pleas to voters in Charlottesville and Albemarle County Monday.

Deeds campaigned alongside Gov. Tim Kaine outside Deeds' campaign office in Charlottesville.

The two men spent hours making phone calls and rallying voters.

Meanwhile, Deeds' opponent, Republican Bob McDonnell, rallied voters at the Landmark Aviation Terminal in Albemarle County.

The stop is part of McDonnell's "New Jobs, More Opportunities" tour.

McDonnell started the one-day, seven-stop tour near his childhood home in Alexandria and will conclude it Monday night in Virginia Beach.
