Prosecutors Expect Guilty Pleas in WV Contract Fraud Case
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) Federal prosecutors expect admissions of guilt from the remaining three defendants accused in the mishandling of a $100,000 state grant.

Federal prosecutors expect admissions of guilt from the remaining three defendants accused in the mishandling of a $100,000 state grant.
The U.S. Attorney's office has requested guilty plea hearings for Comar Chief Executive Albert Hendershot and former state officials Mary Jane Bowling and Christine Gardner.
Charges filed last week allege Hendershot allowed the diversion of $5,000 from the grant awarded to Comar.
Gardner is a former West Virginia State University Extension agent and an associate of Bowling, who oversaw grants while a Workforce West Virginia administrator. They were charged with embezzlement in September.
Bowling's son, Martin Bowling, pleaded guilty that month to diverting the funds to a girlfriend. He had been Comar's Web developer.
