If Monteleone was the best don't you think he would have won? He wasn't, and he lost for a second time. No one wants him as Sheriff he needs to give up.
Its ok ,, we all know who was best & that was Pete but people in Page County love drama thats why they dont put the Real man in there. so now deal with it 4 years,, you still # 1 Pete countinue in Shenandoah you have done lots of great things there,, your day will come,, Page County people will wake up oneday
Time to go out and clean up all the signs and actually answer the phone and not have a robocall about whom I should vote for.Can you imagine what our state(especially Page Co for that matter) could have done with all the money "spent" on elections! I bet there would be money for all the education ever needed and the rest stops could have been opened.

I'm for Pete. We need change. I knew Thomas since the 70's and no I will not vote for him. I want someone who will improve Page County and do things for the kids and community and he is the only way we will get it.
I think Pete is a great man & so is Mr. Thomas but i support Pete all the way. Because i think he would take the job more serious & do what needs to be done & ALL inmates would be treated alike not by there name are who they are. Wish i was back in Page County to support Pete GO GO PETE
John Thomas is the man for sheriff. I think if Pete wins we will have the same situation on our hands as we did with Presgraves.
Thanks for the input Michele, but just food for thought the sign you are refering to was not Pete's doing. The Landowner whome is in the process of suing several officials put the sign up not Pete. Pete does and did not support the sign. But unfortunatley the landowner has the right to put that sign on his property.
Good luck to all candidates, but I think John Thomas has maturity and leadership on his side and will do an excellent job "regaining the trust of the citizens." I really resent the billboard on Mr. Alger's land and I feel that there are many good people in the sheriff's department NOW!
Regardless of the outcome, we should end up with a good, god fearing sheriff. Best of luck to hopefully eliminating half of the Page 6 today and restoring balance back to Page County
