A Woodstock woman will represent the US in a world weightlifting competition.
After taking first place at a national competition in Omaha, 41-year-old Kim Ryman will participate in the world competition in India in October. Ryman has been competing for 18 years and has won many competitions including placing first in the state six times in row.
She considers herself a small town girl and is delighted with this opportunity. "I will be the best I can be and do the best I can do when I walk on that platform to honor anything and any support that anybody has given me and hopefully bring home something," says Ryman.
