Two alleged gang members will likely face jail time after a judge convicted them for robbing a college student behind a convenience store on South Main Street in Harrisonburg.

Twenty-one-year-old Felipe Arellano of Grottoes and 20-year-old Dionesio Sanchez of Weyers Cave were each convicted of robbery and misdemeanor assault and battery.

In February, the two men and a 16-year-old friend robbed a college student behind the 7-11 store on South Main Street.

The college student was treated and released from Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Police say the men were part of a gang known as Sur-13.

Any bets if they are "undocumented citizens"? I'm hoping that the new slate in Richmond will make eradication of criminal street gangs a priority.

A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
