The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to block Tuesday's scheduled execution of sniper mastermind John Allen Muhammad.

The Court did not comment Monday on why it refused to consider his appeal.

Muhammad is scheduled to die by injection at a Virginia prison for the slaying of Dean Harold Meyers at a gas station during a three-week spree in 2002 across Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Muhammad and his teenage accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, were also suspected of fatal shootings in other states, including Louisiana, Alabama and Arizona. Malvo is serving a life sentence.

Muhammad still has a clemency petition before Virginia Gov. Timothy M. Kaine.

Muhammad's attorney, Jonathan Sheldon, says "Virginia will execute a severely mentally ill man who also suffered from Gulf War Syndrome the day before Veterans Day."

First and for most to hear his lawyer using the Gulf War to stay his execution is just sick. Did any of his victims get to ask for a stay,( just one more day with thier familys) NO. And you think he didn't know what he was doing or didn't know it was wrong if her were sick in the head, then why was he hiding himself. He was not beging for help. He was simply puting these familys through the worst thing ever. IF the Gov steps in and stops this we are saying its ok to go out and do this. Lets think this through. Save electric,(Go Green) have the other young man hold his hand while they throw the juice to him. Kill 2 birds with one stone. See we could save alot of tax payers money if we just think it through.
