Downtown Harrisonburg was showing people what it has to offer Wednesday night with food, wine and theater.

It was the second annual "Temptations at the Theater" at the Court Square Theater.

Downtown Renaissance says it's a great event for adults to come out and enjoy themselves, since many other events are family-based.

About 170 people came out to enjoy a wide variety of food.

"I think it really shows people all of the restaurants that are out there because, with 18 restaurants here, everybody here might not know that there are this many restaurants in downtown Harrisonburg. And I think it also shows the restaurants what we're doing to get their name out and familiar with the public," says Jessica Chase with Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance.

All of Wednesday night's proceeds go to downtown revitalization for things such as events and city beautification.
