Charges against the owners of the Pub are going before a Rockingham County grand jury Monday.
William Royer and his business partner, Terri Life, face three felony charges of embezzlement, one misdemeanor charge of money laundering and eight misdemeanor charges of failure to pay the Harrisonburg meals tax.
Together, Royer and Life own the company Mirage Enterprises and the Pub in Harrisonburg.
The charges against them were filed in the Rockingham County Circuit Court Friday. Attorneys in the case were not immediately available for comment Friday night.
Also on Friday, the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control finalized its decision to dismiss charges against the Pub's owners. Life and Royer were accused of failing to demonstrate financial responsibility and attempting to commit tax fraud.
In August 2008, the Pub's owners admitted to a violation of after-hours-drinking laws. They paid a fine and their liquor license was suspended.
In February, ABC charged them with the same violation after Harrisonburg Police charged a bartender in the hit and run death of Sherry Anderson in January.
Bethany Jones pleaded guilty to those charges last month. She'll be sentenced next month.
