A judge accepted a plea agreement Tuesday morning from a Stuarts Draft man who was accused of taping a teenage girl for sex videos.

As part of the agreement, 39-year-old Wayne Gill pleaded guilty to paying a girl $300 to perform sex acts on him.

He was charged with soliciting a minor, child pornography and misdemeanor prostitution when he was arrested in March.

In the plea deal, the prostitution charge was dropped.

All of the activities took place at Gill's brother's business, Gill's Auto Repair in Staunton, in February.

Gill was sentenced to a three-year suspended sentence and three years of supervised probation.

He was also ordered to undergo an evaluation as a sex offender, to register as a sex offender and have no contact with the victim.

A 17-year-old boy who allegedly help arrange the meeting faces similar charges.

From the story, it sounds like everyone involved was consenting. It didn't sound like the accused was preying on anyone but doing what the porn industry does every day - pay for sex. Legally and morally its wrong. However, in this case, locking up the accused would do little good. People are quick to say "that guy should be locked up!" but what they are really saying is "Raise taxes so we can lock up more citizens!" The Commonwealth made the right choice here.

I think this is a sick man and to think that he is still able to walk the streets. It is sad to see what this world is coming to. I can tell you this much if this man had done something of this nature to my child he would not have the tools left to do it to another. Just one SICK individual!!!!!

I'm disappointed with the commwealth, peolpe go to jail for driving drunk and this Gill guy didn't go to jail for doing what he has done. It makes me sick just thinking that he is still out there and can do this agian. How i feel is he should have gone to jail and this boy should have atleast gotten somthing probation or 30 days in jail something. As far as the girl yes she is 17 but she is a victim. She needs help as i see it. If something like this had happened to me i would be afriad to go out of my house knowing he is still out there. As a mother of two i don't want to let my children out of my reach. I know there are people out there that are "bad" but i never would have thought that the commwealth would let someone like this run free to do as he please's.Peolpe say he is innocent, but think about it, why would he plea guilty. He knew if he went in front of the Grand Jury they would have let him have it. Because no one wants someone like his on the streets.
