A new agreement between U.S. Airways and United Airlines may mean lower fares and more options.

The new deal lets the airline sell tickets and book flights for each other using both carriers. One benefit is, if you have frequent flyer miles, you can use them for US Air and United Flights.

Airport spokesman Dennis Burnett says it's way too early to tell what the new deal will mean for the Valley, but historically it drops the prices.
