The Hispanic vote is growing, but one group thinks politicians are not paying enough attention.
The National Council of La Raza says the number of Hispanics casting ballots nationally could grow by almost three million in the next two years.
Numbers in Harrisonburg could also skyrocket by 6,000. But, the group says politicians are only going after the vote in superficial ways.
But, a Virginia politician may be trying to change that. Gob. Mark Warner is now writing articles in the Valley's Hispanic newspaper, Nuevas Raices.
The Director of the paper says the Hispanic vote is important for many reasons.
