Two people, who were arrested for murdering a man in Frederick County, have been denied bond.

The Frederick County Sheriff's Office charged Robert Shiflett II and Fallon Racey, both of Frederick County, with first-degree murder.

The sheriff's office responded to the intersection of Ogden and Rectors lanes near Middletown around 2 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies found the body of Todd Eugene Swartz at that location.

In a statement during Monday's bond hearing, Racey said, "I was just upset, sir. My fiance is the one that did it. I ran up the road to call 911."

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine Swartz's cause of death.

Frederick County Sheriff's deputies say Swartz's death appears to have been from stabbing.

Both Shifflett and Racey will be appointed attorneys.

Calling the cops on someone is not even a good reason to fight let alone kill, you break the law you have to pay. Your right about one thing, No judge or punishment will bring Todd back but the right punishment will assure that no other parent has to listen to their child scream "He's dead,They killed my dad" let those words haunt you like they do me, as well as his mom screaming "they killed my baby" her only child mind you.I don't want the death penalty, I want them to sit in jail for the rest of their life and think about the lives they destroyed, they are so young, they will have a very long time to think. Then when their life finally ends, God can't accept them or send them to hell to burn, it's in his hands not mine. If it were in mine, let's just say it wouldn't be pretty. Nothing you say will make me feel anything but hate for your "drug infested lowlife friends"

Well as far as "good reasons" for murder go read the statutes for the death penality. Many of our states believe that it is right to take some one's life when they have taken a life themselves. Of course this isn't considered murder; it is considered justice. I love Fallon and I just want people to know that her and Bob made a horriable mistake. They had to be provoked into a fight in the first place and I believe it had something to do with someone calling the cops on them. That's what I ment about a good reason for them to FIGHT in the 1st place. Not kill him. I've dealt with the criminal justice system from both ends and there is no real justice. When it comes to drugs people need to understand that the police only make things worse for the addict and does nothing to stop the criminal activity involved in drug use. Pamela I'm sorry and I'd like to think we both to understand there will be no real justice here. The judge wont bring Todd back to life by sentencing them to anything.

What exactly is a "good" reason to murder someone? I think she is gonna need more than luck to get out of this.
