Two Sentenced for Plotting to Distribute Cocaine in VA, MD and D.C.

Federal prosecutors say two men have been sentenced for plotting to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine.

Federal prosecutors say two men have been sentenced for plotting to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine.

Thirty-six-year-old Otis Harris of Washington was sentenced to more than 23 years in prison and 38-year-old Jerry Bannister of Indian Head were sentenced to more than 18 years Monday.

According to their guilty pleas, the two men conspired with others to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine. Bannister sold and distributed drugs in Charles County. Harris sold and distributed drugs and numerous firearms to in Washington, Virginia and Maryland.
