It's day five of the fifth annual tour of Virginia.
With the buildings of downtown Harrisonburg serving as the backdrop, cyclist wizzed by hoping they'd be number one.
The six day event serves as a showcase for north America's up and coming racers.
It's just a really nice fun day, I love to come out and do my race and then stay and watch the pros and 1's and 2's race their race cause they're fast guys," comments cyclist Jordan Whiley
Jordan Whiley of Farmville, Virginia participated in the amateur division and trained for more than six months.
"It's really nice to be able to race downtown and have lots of people lining the streets having that in encouragement just a good feeling all around," says Whiley
Hundreds of home towners turned out to show their support.
"It's really cool to see them and I think's there's a couple of guys that raced in the Tour de France and the Perrie Rubay that are here to day and actually may be racing so it's kind of cool to see that," adds John Youndahl of Harrisonburg.
