New court documents reveal a detailed witness account of a Frederick County murder.
Robert Shifflett II and Fallon Nicole Racey facing first-degree murder charges in the death of Frederick County resident Todd Swartz. The two are being held without bond at the Northwest Regional Detention Center.
Authorities found Swartz stabbed to death at the intersection of Ogden and Rectors lanes near Middletown Saturday.
In the affidavit, Racey tells authorities that Shifflett, who is her fiancée, grabbed a knife from their home and they went to find Swartz.
A witness told authorities that he saw Racey and Shifflett confront Swartz and then the three got into a physical altercation. The witness said he saw Racey push, hit and kick Swartz.
Shifflett allegedly stabbed the man when he was down on the ground. The witness told police he watched Racey and Shifflett put Swartz's body in a ditch, where he died.
Racey told police she and Shifflett walked back to their trailer and she called police while Shifflett changed out of his bloody clothes.
Racey and Shifflett are scheduled to be in court in February.
