The Waynesboro City Council discussed the future of the Wayne Theatre at its meeting Monday night.
If approved, more than $300,000 would be offered for improvements. That money would be split, with $160,000 going directly to the theatre, and the remaining $300,000 going toward the Economic Development Authority for use at the theatre.
