Life in prison plus 74 years: That's the sentence for a Valley man who murdered a Bridgewater woman and who shot at police during a 20 hour standoff.

Jonathan Grattan was charged with first degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding, and six counts of attempted capitol murder of law enforcement officers.

On April 30 of last year, Grattan shot neighbors William and Carol Gardner as they were leaving their home. Carol was pronounced dead at the scene.

Yea sure, the mentally unstable should ALWAYS be killed and not treated. That seems like the most logical way of doing things. How about we just kill them before a crime even takes place? Idiots like you need to be on death row for your stupidity...
