Some Valley families were in Augusta County buying their Christmas trees Saturday.

The West Augusta Boys' Home Tree Farm says it had a good number of trees this year, and so far, it's getting just as many sales as last year.

The farm sells trees to retailers in the Valley, but it also allow families to pick and cut their own.

"I caught the story on their Website of the lady who left this to the boys home. And how the boys do all this work and planting and everything, and I just thought it was great. If you're going to go spend money on a tree, why not go spend it somewhere that supports something that is a great thing," says Jodi Bishopriggs, who was buying a tree with her family.

The farm will stay open through December 19
