James Madison University ranks near the middle of the pack when it comes to campus safety.

Those are the findings of a new survey of campus crime, compiled by StateUniversity.com. The survey looked at serious crimes that were reported in 2008.

The campus with the lowest rate was Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke.

JMU was ranked seventh and the least safe was Virginia State University in Petersburg.

JMU scored poorly for its high number of thefts from cars but it had low numbers for assaults and burglaries.

A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
