A group called "Equity In Athletics" is suing James Madison University for planning to cut ten of its sports programs.

JMU announced the cuts to comply with Title IX which is intended to give equal opportunities for women's athletic teams.

JMU’s cuts would eliminate seven men's sports teams, and three women's teams.

EIA says the cuts are illegal.
