Officials believe a missing Pittsylvania County woman may be in Rockingham County.
The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office is looking for 57-year-old Brenda Eades of Grit Road in the town of Hurt, Virginia.
Deputies say she has a .32 caliber handgun in her possession and she suffers from physical health issues.
She is described as five-feet-two-inches tall, weighing 98 pounds and has sandy blond hair.
She was last seen driving a silver Jeep with license plates KEP 1345 and with the number 65 on its side.
Deputies say she might be in the Harrisonburg area. Sgt. Felicia Glick with the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office says Eades has a son in the area who is a former James Madison University student and is familiar with the area.
Authorities will begin a reverse 911 alert Wednesday night in hopes of spreading the word about Eades and her believed whereabouts.
Anyone with any information about Eades is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or the Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office at 434-432-7931 or the Rockingham County Sheriff's Department at 540-564-3800.
