Pam Matthews has resorted to washing dishes at her bed and breakfast by hand with jugs of bottled water. The water lose has caused Pam and her husband to lose all of their business this week.
"We've already advised some guests to find another place and we helped them find another place. We have some people coming in tonight that we've advised not to come."
Neighbor Bruce Stark says he's annoyed with the water shortage although he admits efforts by the National Guard are helping residents.
"It's just inconvenient and you know when you turn that faucet on and you're used to it, and then it doesn't flow, not good."
Despite the loss of business, the Matthews are seeing an up-side to this fiasco. They say the town's water system has been faulty for years and needed to be replaced.
"One always hates to lose revenue but it'll be a small price to pay if we get the problem solved-it's been on-going, nothing on this scale, but it's been on-going."
