A federal magistrate has released an indicted Pagans Motorcycle Club member accused of threatening a co-defendant in a federal racketeering case.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Mary Stanley ordered St. Albans resident Stephen J. Bailey's release Monday. Bailey had been held over the weekend after prosecutors charged that he threatened Donnie Ray Workman last month.
Workman is one of several Pagans who've cut plea deals and agreed to testify.
Bailey faces drug and firearms charges in the case against Pagans from West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida.
