Police are claiming a victory in the war on drugs in the Valley after a major bust.
An undercover investigation by the RUSH drug task force has netted $214,000 of methamphetamine and cocaine.
The most significant find was this: A bag containing more than $40,000 worth of Crystal Meth. It's the first known seizure of the drug in the Valley and one of the largest amounts ever found in Virginia.
Police say now that the drug is here, it could be around for good. "Once they start using it in rock form, like crack cocaine over powder cocaine, that's what they tend to want," says Special Agent Tom Murphy with the RUSH drug task force.
Police have arrested three men after getting a tip. All three are illegal immigrants from Mexico. They face charges of possession with the intent to distribute drugs.
