Some hunters in West Virginia could get an early start this season.

Residents in Parsons could be able to begin hunting deer nearly two weeks before the official season begins, and they could do it right in their own city limits.

Parsons plans to be the sixth city in West Virginia to approve an urban deer hunt. Hunters will still have to abide by all the rules. They are allowed to use only bows and arrows to hunt while they are in the city.
