Restaurants around the area say the timing of these winters storms has been good and bad.
As far as business and traffic for restaurants in Staunton, snowy weekends means closing during some of the most profitable times.
However, when it comes to getting deliveries and shipments on time, it has been helpful because they come during the week.
Restaurants explain that last week some deliveries were pushed forward in the week in anticipation for the big snow and fortunately they had everything they needed.
"We have our deliveries on Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays, so the trucks were actually still able to make it through today. Of course, it was a lot lighter load today, but they were still able to get here," says Ashley Wilcher a manager at The Clock Town Restaurant.
In preparation for more winter weather this week restaurants are in fact "preparing" less food for less customers.
