The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department has identified the five people killed in a three-vehicle wreck that police say was caused by a drunken driver.

Two victims were in one car: 30-year-old Courtney Evans and 12-year-old Sawyer Evans, both of Maryland. Three other victims were in another car: 52-year-old Donnell Perry, and his daughters, 13-year-old Jacquesha and 15-year-old Jentil.

The Hartford Courant newspaper reports that the Perrys had recently moved to Clarksburg from Middletown, Connecticut.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the Evanses were from Baltimore.

Five other people, two from the Evans family and three from the Perry family, remain in the hospital. Two young Perry children were released from the hospital and are staying with family members.

Police say the wreck allegedly was caused by 32-year-old Brian Stone, a Pennsylvania resident who lost his West Virginia driver's license in 2004 after his second drunken driving conviction.

Stone is charged with five counts of driving under the influence causing death. He is being held at North Central Regional Jail.

WHSV Poll
A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
