A man wanted for attempted murder in New Jersey was arrested in Harrisonburg Monday.

The RUSH Drug Task Force, Harrisonburg Police Department and Harrisonburg Police SWAT stopped a vehicle in which one of the known occupants was wanted for the New Jersey crime.

During the stop, officials seized four ounces of crack cocaine with a street value of $5,200 and more than $1,100 in cash. The wholesale per gram value of the cocaine is worth $11,200.

Twenty-four-year-old Luis Miguel Aybar of Perth Amboy, New Jersey was charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule II drug (crack cocaine) and with transporting a schedule II drug into the Commonwealth.

Aybar is the man wanted in New Jersey.

A second man, 35-year-old Ryan Djuanshay Ferguson of Harrisonburg, was arrested for a probation violation.

However, police are still looking for a third man, Aybar's father Ramone Martinez-Aybar. Martinez-Aybar is wanted in Virginia for multiple drug offenses that occurred in July 2007.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Martinez-Aybar is asked to call the RUSH Drug Task Force at 540-434-1229 or their local law enforcement agency.
