Unemployment Rate Jumps in West Virginia
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) Unemployment rates are up in all of West Virginia's 55 counties.

Unemployment rates are up in all of West Virginia's 55 counties.
Figures released Tuesday by Workforce West Virginia also show the number of counties reporting rates much worse than average declined slightly in January.
Calhoun County had the highest unemployment rate at 21.3 percent. Monongalia County's was the lowest at 5.8 percent.
Pendleton County's unemployment rate rose to 11.0 percent in January, up from 9.5 percent in December.
Statewide, West Virginia's unemployment rate jumped nearly two percentage points to 10.5 in January.
