The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources is going to make up for lost time in getting lakes and streams stocked with fish.
Division spokesman Hoy Murphy says more fish will be added this month to make up for scheduled stockings canceled by February snows.
Some waters, such as upper Shavers Fork, Cranberry River and Williams River, are still inaccessible.
When possible, more fish will be added to subsequent stockings or separate runs will be made.
Murphy urged anglers to be patient, saying stockings will be completed as soon as possible.

This is the first year that myself and my husband has fish in West Virginia. We loved it. We came over 2 times last week. Thanks so much for a great place to come and fish.
