The West Virginia Division of Tourism is hosting a round-table discussion in Fairmont to talk about such issues as marketing, economic development and the Civil War sesquicentennial.
State tourism officials will also share details about grants available for advertising projects designed to lure tourists to West Virginia.
Tourism Commission Chairman Oshel Craigo said the public is invited, especially people involved in tourism-related businesses and others who may seek grants for tourism-related enterprises.
Tourism Commissioner Betty Carver is scheduled to attend. An hour-long question and answer session also is planned for the April 1 meeting at Valley Worlds of Fun Conference Center.
The Fairmont gathering is one of several planned across the state.
