Skyline Drive, in the Shenandoah National Park, has been open to the public since the first weekend in March.

However, this will be the first weekend it when the weather will be nice.

During this week, between 100 and 150 cars have entered the park daily at the Swift Run Gap entrance off Route 33.

Park employees expect that number to grow to about 250 a day this weekend.
