You may soon be able to visit a renovated landmark. The Shenandoah Valley Rural Heritage Foundation wants to renovate the historic Grandma Moses house in Verona.
They are seeking permission from Augusta County to turn the famous artist's former house into a tourist and business attraction.
Renovation costs will be around $250,000. Grandma Moses lived in the house from 1902 to 1903. It was also the subject of one of her most famous paintings.
