Some JMU Students Fined for Party

Some students living in one of the apartment complexes where a massive James Madison University party happened this weekend have been told to pay up or else.

Students say they received a letter from Forest Hills Manor management saying each house owes $2,000, or about $500 per tenant.

In the letter, the property owners say the party was a violation of lease agreements.

The money is due May 1. After that, management says it will being legal action.

Students say tenants who weren't even at the party are being ordered to pay up.
