Asphalt Plant Coming to WV's Eastern Panhandle

The Eastern Panhandle is getting a new $25 million asphalt plant.

The Berkeley County Economic Development Authority said Thursday it's sold 18 acres for the plant to AllMine Corp. for $1.6 million.

The agency says the plant will produce and process liquid asphalt and employ 15 to 20 people. AllMine plans to have it up and running by fall.

The property is located in the Tabler Station Industrial Park.
