Monday marked the first day of classes for all students at James Madison University.

There was a flutter of activity as students rushed to class, tried to find parking spots, and took breaks between classes to enjoy a bite to eat and talk with friends.

Second-year student Gene Morrello is excited about starting his radio program this semester.

He says, "Well, it's really swell to be back. Campus is as beautiful as ever. Loving the ladies walking around and I'm excited for my new radio show starting next week. Monday's four to six on 88.7 FM and should be a lot of fun. So I'm looking forward to a good year."

Students say they were a little nervous about beginning classes this semester, but it won't stop them from enjoying it.
