Vick Plea Reaction

Lots of Atlanta Falcons fans wore number seven jerseys at the Georgia Dome Monday night. They got a chance to cheer for Michael Vick's replacement.

After throwing two touchdown passes in Atlanta's 24-19 pre-season win over Cincinnati, quarterback Joey Harrington said Vick's situation is "not something we can sweep under the rug." But Harrington says Vick is "still a member of this team, still a member of this family."

Hours after Vick's guilty plea to federal dogfighting charges, demonstrators on both sides gathered outside the stadium. Some waved signs reading "Ban Vick Permanently," while others shouted "We Love Mike!"

Vick, who apologized after his plea and told his fans "I need to grow up," isn't being cut from the team. Owner Arthur Blank says that wouldn't be in the team's long-term best interests. But it will pursue the $22 million in bonus money Vick already received in a $130 million contract he signed in 2004.
