Staunton's delegate to Richmond now has a new seat on the Board of Visitors to the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind.

Del. Dickie Bell (R-Staunton) has been elected to serve as the board's vice-chair.

He was first appointed to the board by Virginia House Speaker Bill Howell in April.

It would be interesting if TV-3 could check and see what financial compensation might there be for this Board position, since Delegate Bell was whining that his School Division wasn't paying him for his time down in Richmond.

A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
