Waynesboro is getting ready for a big weekend that could leave your mouth on fire. Banners are already flying on the grounds of Saturday's Chili, Blues N' Brews Festival.

The festival has Blues bands, vendors from the city, and lots of chili to try. Thirty-six chefs have signed up to offer their chili recipes for people to sample.

Organizers say an important part of the festival is that it will bring people downtown to businesses that need more exposure.

"Bringing 2,000 to 3,000 people down here; they're bringing them from Augusta County, Rockingham, over the mountain in Albermarle. Those folks are coming to Waynesboro," says Rick Moyer, Waynesboro Downtown. "They're going to be walking down Main Street seeing there are businesses out here."

Organizers say there will be a large variety of chili from the cooks they have gathered from around the state.
