From Luray Caverns to Skyline Drive, tourism is a big part of Page County's economy. Now, officials are hoping to add a new attraction to the list.
Supervisors are supporting a proposal to get a scenic byway designation for Fort Valley Road and Egypt Bend, two of the county's secondary roads. They're off the beaten path, but officials are hoping the roads will attract tourists looking for a scenic drive.
The proposal now goes to VDOT.
