A man, charged for the sexual assault of a juvenile female in Waynesboro, has been arrested in Florida.
Police say 37-year-old Thomas Bragg, Jr., formerly of Waynesboro, left Virginia when a warrant was issued for his arrest for sexual battery of a 10-year-old girl in April of 1999.
In July of this year, Bragg was arrested in Florida for a traffic charge.
A fingerprint search indicated he was wanted in Virginia. Wednesday, Bragg was extradited back from Florida.
He is being held without bail in the Augusta County Jail.
