98 New Jobs Come to the Valley Due to Expansion

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) -- New jobs are coming to the Waynesboro, Augusta County area.

Bloomaker USA Inc. is expanding its horticulture operation by investing more than $2 million to build a new greenhouse.

The company held a groundbreaking ceremony Friday morning at the new site with several state government leaders in attendance.

Bloomaker recently developed new long lasting flowers. The company hopes to expand its sales from $10 million dollars per year to $25 million in the next five years.

The company received a $50,000 grant and will get more money to support training.
