The Staunton Recreation commission says the city could break ground on a new skatepark a soon as this winter.
The proposed park would be located next to Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton.
But it is not a done deal yet, Staunton City Council will meet Sept. 26 to decide if they will allocate the needed $70,000 to make the park a reality.
