A trial date is scheduled in the federal case of a Rockingham County couple accused of killing three people.
Lorie and Nakia Keller face a charge of traveling across state lines with the intent to kill.
A trial is set for January and scheduled to last about two weeks.
However, attorneys say that could easily change.
The government has not yet announced a decision on whether or not to seek the death penalty in this case.
The Kellers are accused of traveling to Hardy County to kill Lorie's ex-husband Dennis "Chip" Taylor.
Local law enforcement has also charged the couple with the murders of Taylor, his wife and her five-year-old daughter.
