You might remember that first day back to school when you wanted to look your best in trendy clothes and with nice hair. However, not every child has the money for a new look.
So, from August 1 to August 15, every time someone under the age of 18 gets a haircut at Hair Cuttery, one will also be donated to a child in the community who is in need.
Hair Cuttery is partnering with social services for the "Share a Haircut" program, but helping kids look their best isn't just benefiting the students.
"It really makes us feel good because that's what we're all about is giving them the confidence to start a new year, and just blend in with the rest of the kids, and start off great," says Hair Cuttery assistant manager Ashton Cook.
