BROADWAY, Va. (WHSV)-- A search warrant led the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office to charge a woman in Broadway of suspected embezzlement.
According to the search warrant, investigators took check books, dvds, her computer, and records pertaining to the Heritage Villas Homeowners Association.
Officers searched Kimberley Kenyon's home on June 10. The home is located on Alger Lane in Broadway.
In the warrant officers said Kenyon had withdrawn all the money from the association's bank account in January. They said she then tried to write two bad checks from that same account.
Investigators looked through the association's bank account and found many personal transactions.
The charges show over $1700 was used.
