Advance Auto Expanding Roanoke Operations

Auto parts seller Advance Auto Parts is planning to expand its corporate headquarters in Roanoke, creating 75 jobs over the next three years.

Gov. Bob McDonnell on Thursday said the company will invest $8 million to add a financial services commercial customer care center to its operations.

Officials say the center will manage the entire commercial customer credit experience, including commercial customer master data setup, billing, accounts receivable and collections.

Advance Auto Parts sells automotive parts, accessories, batteries and maintenance items. It has more than 3,645 stores in 39 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
